Fly fishing trips are offered throughout Central Maine from Skowhegan to Moosehead Lake, and the Forks. We guide many rivers including the Kennebec River, Roach River, West Outlet, East Outlet, Dead River, Grand Falls, and Moose River.

All fly fishing trips can be booked for half day or full day trips. Trips include fishing gear and lunch often with Maine game such as deer, moose, or bear when available.

Maine Spin Cast Fishing

If you are looking for a fun Central Maine experience that will give you the opportunity to catch fish in the warmer waters of the state, we offer trips throughout the Central Maine area to catch species such as smallmouth bass, largemouth bass, northern pike, panfish, trout and salmon. Central Maine waters change in temperature throughout the fishing season and this determines what can be caught and where. Give us a call with the time of year you would like to book a trip and we can help you pick the best species to target for your adventure. Spin cast trips can be booked for the Belgrade Lakes region, and the Kennebec River.

Maine ice fishing

Ice fishing is a great way to get out and catch fish during the winter months! Here at Maine Fishing Guides we specialize in catching northern pike through the ice. While catching fish is never guaranteed, we can help you increase your chances by using proven fishing practices and trusted locations for landing these cold water predators.

Trips are offered throughout the winter in Central Maine to fish for trout, pike, bass, and panfish. All ice fishing trips can be booked for half or full days in Central Maine and for full day trips fishing for trout and salmon in the Moosehead Lakes Region.

Maine adventures

Many people love to explore the Maine outdoors but aren’t as into fishing. We are very familiar with the mountains, trail systems, and waterfalls of Maine. If you are the type of adventurer who likes to take in all that Maine has to offer but would rather leave the rods at home, we offer excursions to beautiful locations throughout Central and Northern Maine.

If you are vising Maine as a family or with a group of friends and some would like to explore and others would like to fish, we can accommodate that as well. Here at Maine Fishing Guides we have a trip for any type of adventurer.

Adventures are quoted upon request and pricing is dependent on trip duration, number of participants, and the location of the adventure. All Adventures include lunch often with Maine game such as deer, moose, or bear when available.

Overnight Fishing Trips

Overnights with Maine Fishing Guides can be scheduled on request for those ambitious anglers who would like to get multiple days of fishing in. These trips can be booked during June, July, and September, for the Moosehead Lakes Region and the Forks on the Dead River.
